Power plant equipment selection and supply
An equipment package based on the site's energy balance, from the generating set to the agreed auxiliary systems and plant controls.
Procurement starts with the technical requirements, not simply a power rating in a catalog. 4DA selects equipment and checks its compatibility with the fuel, operating conditions, connections and site. The Yuchai and MWM catalogs support an initial model comparison but do not replace the specification for an individual order. Genset configuration, equipment scope and interfaces between systems are agreed before ordering.

What equipment selection covers
- — Genset type, number and capacity for the load profile
- — Compatibility with fuel, network and site conditions
- — Required auxiliary systems and controls
- — Specification, supply boundaries and integration requirements
What makes up the equipment package
The core may be a gas or diesel generator set in the selected configuration. Depending on the project, cooling, gas treatment, exhaust systems, power distribution, controls and backup arrangements are considered. CHP heat circuits are developed separately where needed. Containerized installation and additional equipment enter the specification only after agreement: not every component is included in the manufacturer's base package.
How the equipment is agreed
Site data is clarified first and suitable models are considered. Operating modes, gas requirements, electrical parameters and interfaces with other systems are then checked. The outcome is an agreed specification covering the supply scope and documentation. Delivery is aligned with site readiness and installation. Equipment availability, delivery dates, transport terms and cost are confirmed for the individual order, rather than assumed from a catalog card.
What to include in your inquiry
Provide the site's purpose and location, required load and operating schedule. For gas generation, include known gas composition and supply conditions; for electrical connection, state the voltage and intended grid operating mode. Describe heat demand, backup requirements and space constraints. If you have selected a model, include its designation and desired package. Installation, external utility connections, commissioning and subsequent service are not automatically included in equipment supply; their scope is agreed separately.
